Viewing Grant Proposal: Ypsilanti Performance Space_Solar EV Charging Stations

As the State Representative of Michigan House District 32, I support this proposal. Ypsilanti is ripe for investment! We want to be at the forefront of meeting Michigan's ambitious clean energy goals. As a college town, we will need every EV charger we can get as we move towards a more EV-dominated driving force.

As a Ypsi resident for nearly a decade, I wholeheartedly support the proposal to install improved EV charging systems in the City of Ypsilanti. This initiative not only expands access to sustainable transportation options but also leverages renewable energy sources, aligning with our community's commitment to environmental stewardship. Increasing the number of public EV charging stations makes Ypsi more accessible, promotes electric vehicle adoption and contributes to a greener, more sustainable future for Ypsilanti.

As a Washtenaw County Commissioner serving the people of Ypsilanti, I support this project for increased public charging use. This project will support our local residents in addition to supporting economic growth. Our community is seated along the 94 corridor with a thriving food and hospitality business, drawing folks in during their travel to and through Ypsilanti. If given this opportunity, the funds will support Ypsilanti and Washtenaw County climate goals.

We fully support this proposal period then the city of Ypsilanti should be on the cutting edge of technology with as much infrastructure servicing to the public.It's can't be afforded. This is a sound proposal and would greatly benefit the city .

As a community member and small business owner, I deeply appreciate the impact The Ypsi has had on our community. From a purveyor of the arts to a community gathering space and a beacon of solar energy possibilities, there is no better recipient than The Ypsilanti Performance Space

I wholly support this endeavor and proposal. It will be invaluable added asset to the vibrant alternative energy component which is on-going in Ypsilanti.

As a resident of downtown Ypsilanti (I can walk to The YPSI) and a practicing architect, I cannot support this enough. Having EV charging stations in the heart of this community goes a long way to helping the community attract people to our downtown and historic city. For a city to thrive it needs the right infrastructure. EV charging stations are critical to all development now and for the future.

This proposal is a fantastic step towards a greener future for Ypsilanti! By expanding the solar-powered EV charging infrastructure, we're not just promoting clean transportation but also showcasing our city's dedication to sustainability. These additional charging stations will make electric vehicle ownership more accessible and convenient for residents and visitors alike. Kudos to the team behind this initiative for their commitment to environmental innovation!

I fully support this project for the YPSI and Steve Pierce. Having more green energy in Ypsilanti is a great thing for our community. I have also known Steve for over 24 years and his work is top notch. Please support his proposal and project!

The Ypsilanti Performance Space (YPSi) is fast becoming the talk of the Ypsilanti arts community. As a citizen of Ypsilanti and as the Founder and conductor of the Ypsilanti Symphony Orchestra, I whole heartedly support this endeavor.
